Terms & Conditions

    Maison de Medusa
    Effective 23 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-23

    These terms apply when you:

    • use our website, maisondemedusa.com;
    • book or pay for a class, pass, workshop or event;
    • use your personal booking link or our member app;
    • train at our studio.

By booking, paying or training with us, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

"We", "us" and "the studio" mean Maison de Medusa, a partnership firm at Sy No. 04, Katha 799, K R Puram Hobli, Whitefield Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560066.

    1. Joining the studio

    • Before your first class you must complete our onboarding form, including the health screening, and accept our studio policies.
    • Give us accurate information, and tell your instructor straight away about any change to your health, injuries or pregnancy.
    • Members under 18 may train only with a parent's or guardian's consent.

    2. Passes, plans and trials

    • Our current plans and prices are on our Membership page. Prices are in Indian Rupees, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
    • Each plan is valid for its stated period from its start date. Unused sessions expire at the end of that period.
    • Plans are personal and non-transferable.
    • Trial class: one per mobile number, valid for 7 days. If you return after a trial, we'll offer you a drop-in class instead.
    • Guest passes, where a plan includes them, follow that plan's rules. Guests must complete our onboarding form before training.

    3. Booking

    • You can book through your personal booking link, our member app (once launched), or our front desk.
    • Bookings close 1 hour before a class starts. Sometimes a late place is offered in a class that already has bookings, as shown in the booking system.
    • Classes have limited places. A booking is confirmed only once it shows as confirmed.
    • Keep your booking link and app login to yourself: anyone with your link can book and cancel classes for you. If you think someone else has it, tell us and we'll issue a new one.

    4. Cancellations and no-shows

    • Free cancellation: cancel at least 6 hours before the class starts.
    • Late cancellation: on a session pack, cancelling less than 6 hours before the class uses up that session. Unlimited plans and trials aren't charged anything extra for a late cancellation. A paid drop-in isn't charged anything extra either; refunds for drop-ins are covered in section 5.
    • No-shows: if you don't attend and haven't cancelled, the session counts as used.
    • A booking can't be moved to another class. Cancel it and book again, subject to these rules.
    • Once a class has started, the booking can't be cancelled.

    5. Payments and refunds

    • Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay.
    • Passes, packs and plans are non-refundable once purchased.
    • If we cancel a class, we restore the session to your plan, or don't deduct it.
    • If you paid for a single visit (for example a drop-in) and we cancel the class or can't complete your booking, we refund that payment in full. For an online drop-in we can't complete, the refund is automatic. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days.
    • A drop-in you cancel yourself isn't refunded.
    • A trial fee may be credited towards a membership if you join on the terms shown on our Membership page. It isn't paid out in cash.
    • Freezing or pausing a plan is at the studio's discretion. Please ask us.
    • Workshop and event tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the workshop or event. Any café credit included with an event ticket is non-refundable and isn't a class pass.

    6. Health and safety

    • Pilates is a physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk.
    • We and our instructors do not give medical diagnosis or treatment.
    • Consult a doctor before starting any new exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, postpartum, injured or have a medical condition. We may ask for a doctor's clearance before you train.
    • Follow your instructor's guidance and use equipment only as directed. Stop and tell your instructor if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
    • We may decline or stop a session if we believe it isn't safe for you.

    7. At the studio

    • Arrive 5–10 minutes early, wear grip socks, and switch your phone to silent during class.
    • Treat staff, instructors and other members with respect. We may suspend or end your access for unsafe, abusive or disruptive behaviour.
    • We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings at the studio.
    • We take photos or videos of you for our social media and marketing only if you have consented. You can change your choice at any time.
    • Café discounts and perks follow your plan, and menu items depend on availability.

    8. Our website, booking link and app

    • We work to keep our booking systems available and accurate, but we can't guarantee they will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
    • Don't misuse our systems. That includes trying to access other people's accounts, scraping, or interfering with how the systems work.
    • Our member app is developed for us by Aurora Designs and distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Their terms also apply to your download.
    • All content on our website and app belongs to Maison de Medusa or its licensors. That includes our name, logo, photographs and text.

    9. Liability

    • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
    • Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the class, pass or event concerned.

    10. Changes

We may update these terms, our plans or our prices. Changes apply from the date they are published, and do not change the terms of a plan you have already bought. Each version is dated at the top of this page, and we keep earlier versions on file.

    11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute. We'd always rather resolve concerns directly, so please talk to us first.
